   Thank you Julie, the IABC staff, and IABC members from across the country who have called and emailed me, for your concern and support of our San Diego members.

   The fires in San Diego have been devastating. Many of our members have been evacuated or otherwise displaced. So far, I’ve not heard of any of our members losing their homes, but some communities have not been able to return to survey the damage yet.

   The San Diego community & the firefighters have pulled together extremely well. I’m confident the worst is behind us.

   I understand the news of the fires has been very limited outside of San Diego. A good website for information is: http://www.cbs8.com/

   Thanks to all for your support. The outpouring of emails and calls really affirms what a fabulous & supportive community IABC is.

   Stacy,

   Please call on the IABC/Phoenix members to help you, your chapter members or others. News coverage here as been extensive as San Diego is a “neighbor.” Firefighters from metropolitan Phoenix have been serving with your firefighters and we’re currently hosting the San Diego Chargers until they can come home. We’re with you, and praying for rain, comfort, solace and restoration.

   Thank you for your concern and support. It has been amazing to watch our community come together during this crisis….and now come into the recovery phase together.
