Internet Marketing Made Simple

One of several sessions on internet marketing. Fellow bloggers — compare notes on this session with others you’ve attended.
John Deveney certainly has results to show he knows his stuff, and he’s a good speaker with clear, organized thoughts. He also provided a nice handout, which is much appreciated by those of us with writer’s cramp.
Some notes:
— internet marketing is free.
— search for your own sites often and see what other Web sites come up when you enter your keywords. Compare the other sites with what you’re offering to see if you need to add or change your content, tags, etc.
— use linkage campaign to take advantage of audiences already visiting Web sites that match to your objectives.
— syndication — create content and offer it to Web sites that attract your target groups.
— when you conduct a direct e-mail campaign, use a web catch page so people don’t have to hunt for your product or service.

This session was probably the best I attended today.
