Program Notes

I am travelling today but wanted to let everyone know about a couple of exciting program notes for the upcoming IABC International Conference in Washington.

First, it has been confirmed that Mark Hurd, former President and CEO of NCR Corporation and now President and CEO of Hewlett Packard, has been selected to receive the 2005 IABC Excellence in Commnication Leadership (EXCEL) Award. He will accept his award and address the closing plenary session on Wednesday, 29 June.

Second, a new hot topic session has been added to the conference. The session will focus on best practice applications for blogs featuring Debbie Weil as moderator and bloggers from Intuit, General Motors and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.
